Spent a year working in a night shelter that housed Veterans, and other population groups. Worked closely with the vets and the VA and could rarely seem to get things done. We had vets who transitioned to permanent housing, but they frequently relapsed. The job became totally frustrating, although I still would like to help out in some more tangible way.
