Darby Penney is a long-time activist in the human rights movement for peple with psychiatric histories. An ex-patient and trauma survivor who was formerly homeless, she is a Senior Research Associate with Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. Her current work includes developing curriculum and providing training on Trauma-Informed Peer Support for SAMHSA's National Center for Trauma-Informed Care.
