I currently work as a VISTA for the National Coalition for the Homeless. I feel privileged to be part of this advocacy group, because I have personally experienced homelessness. After losing everything (Big house, SUV, 50" TV, diamonds, etc...), it's worth it to know that I have this chance to make a difference for others.
