I am a volunteer Project Coordinator with Grandparents Raising Grandchildren of St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. Our chapter formed in April of this year, and our mission is to bring the information, resources, and programs available to our members. I am also a homeless mother of 4, since January of 2011. I am one of those who thought "it could never happen to me". And through this journey, I am learning I was called to this experience for a purpose. My story is a testimony to faith and perseverance. To never give up. To never stop helping others. We all have something to give.
