Targeting trauma-related interventions and improving outcomes for women with co-occurring disorders

Data from the multisite Women, Co-occurring Disorders and Violence Study were reanalyzed, based on symptom severity. It was found that the trauma-specific interventions had the largest treatment effects for the group with most severe posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms and had almost no effect for the group with the least severe PTSD symptoms.
