Description: This journal issue is devoted to assertive community treatment (ACT). The articles in the issue provide a broad overview of issues related to ACT financing strategies, program implementation, statewide dissemination strategies, model adaptation, and refinements. In addition, a description of the Harbinger study in Grand Rapids, MI, which was the first replication of the ACT model, is included.
