Health Homes for Children

October 14, 2010 | 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern Time

Dr. Maria Mann, from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration, and Dr. Danielle Laraque, a pediatrician at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, will discuss the health home model, review the core elements of the model, and highlight implementation processes at the practice and system levels. They will also discuss how improving the quality of mental and behavioral health services for children and youth may be facilitated by adoption of the family-/patient-centered medical home.

Primary Care/Behavioral Health Care Integration
