This guide is intended to familiarize the reader with the Section 504 Loan and Grant Program. Important segments of RHS Instructions are inserted as appendices. While it may be possible to submit an application solely by studying this guide, HAC strongly advises that loan packagers (and applicants not working with a loan packager) obtain and utilize the complete Instructions (for ordering information, see Section II.F, pages 5-6). Packagers and applicants should also check with the local Rural Development office to receive proper forms and specific instructions. (HAC)
