Description: The report provides members of Congress information on the needs of the homeless youth population and the characteristics of homeless youth, theoretical perspectives, prevention and amelioration interventions, and implications for policy and program development. This report also includes a review of the range of supports and services available to meet the population's needs, including those services funded in the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act.
