This report will begin to explore the health care needs of homeless people and provide a guide to expanding California’s health care options for the future. It is the first step in developing a blue print for change to the health care system for homeless people. This report should be used as a catalyst for discussion at the community level. Only through discussion and cooperation among local leaders, advocates, homeless people and other interested persons can specific strategies to improve health care access and quality emerge.
