This Drug and Alcohol Services Information System report discusses homelessness among women admitted to substance abuse treatment, broken down by socioeconomic, demographic, and treatment characteristics. Females who were homeless were more likely to be ordered into treatment by the criminal justice system and more likely to use crack or heroin than nonhomeless females.
