Remember to save files on your computer in multiple places (CDs, hard drive, flash drives, etc.), and save often.
Looking for a file and not being able to find it is perhaps one of the most frustrating aspects of the work day. This is why it is so important to maintain an organized file directory on your computer. Being able to have fast access to files and knowing that they are the most current copy will shorten the amount of time that it takes to get work done through out the day, while greatly reducing your levels of stress and anxiety about using computers (HRC). By following the link provided, you will be able to access suggestion and strategies for maintaining an organized and efficient computer filing system: http://homeless.samhsa.gov/Resource/View.aspx?id=33447
