Great tips! I especially agree abut being visible. It's helpful for the staff and consumers to see that supervisors don't just swoop in when there is trouble and that they truly understand the consumers and the struggles that staff face every day.

Great tips!! I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years and have done my best when I have autonomy over my work and input on program development. With out autonomy and input I know I get stale and feel more like I'm on an assembly line. Thank you for publishing this. I hope supervisors take heed.
